Bless You Child Care exists to redefine the child care culture. We teach a culture that exhibits equality, love, respect for one another, and forgiveness. It is a culture that inspires individuals to seek opportunities to bless others. These are the values we hold to and will instill in the children we care for.

Becky Hicks

Director

Becky Hicks is a registered nurse with the state of Georgia. After working in the hospital setting for 4 years, she decided to pursue her childhood dream of starting her own daycare. She has always loved being surrounded by kids and watching them learn and grow. Becky has worked in church nursery settings since high school as well as a Mother's Morning Out Program where some of her inspiration was birthed. She has now been running Bless You Child Care for 8+ years and Little Promises Pre-K for 4 years. She lives with her husband Matt and son Ryan and daughter Breanna in the Grant Park neighborhood of Atlanta.

 


Courtnee Wilson

Operations Manager

Courtnee Wilson has lived in and loved Atlanta since 2003 after leaving her home town of Compton, California to pursue a career in teaching. For 3 years she studied Early Childhood Education at Clark Atlanta University, and presents a myriad of professional and personal experience to include several teaching roles, Children's Ministry leadership, owning and managing a small in home daycare, and as a loving mother of three. She has always had a passion for teaching and strives to help children develop healthy social and emotional skills, problem solving and independent thinking abilities, and gain a lifelong love for learning. She enjoys supporting parents by providing loving care and accomdidating the individual needs of each child. She and her husband, Danny Wilson, along with their 3 beautiful children are locally grounded and reside in the East Lake neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. 


Renna Stanley

2 Year Old Teacher

Renna was born in Miami, FL and moved here at a young age. She has Caribbean ancestry, with her mom being Jamaican and her father from St. Croix. She’s passionate about writing and reading. Renna loves exploring new restaurants and finding new activities in Atlanta. Her favorite thing about the kids is how they teach us to be gentle with ourselves and each other. She also enjoys listening to their stories. Renna believes that every one and every thing has a purpose.

Abi Tschupp

Infant Teacher

Abi is a South Carolina native but moved to Atlanta in 2016 with a group of friends after coming off the mission field. She has always had a love for kids and a passion for helping them explore and discover the world around them. She has worked with kids in a variety of capacities since she was young - from helping out in her mom’s First Grade classroom, to coaching gymnastics and working in the nursery at church. She previously worked at BYCC for 3 years before stepping into non-profit work. After getting married in 2020 and having a baby of her own in 2022, she is so excited to be back serving our families and kids. Her hope is that each child and family knows they were created in the image of God and that they are loved beyond measure!

Becky Charles

1 Year Old Teacher

Becky grew up in Georgia. She attended the University of Georgia and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Becky has a variety of passions in life, and she is finding really awesome ways to pursue them concurrently! One of those passions is really being there for young people. She has been involved with children’s programs all throughout her life. From volunteering at church nurseries to being a high school teacher, Becky has been able to get to know and love young people of all ages! When it comes to toddlers, Becky loves seeing them be curious, explore the world, and learn new things! She’s filled with joy and purpose each time she gets an opportunity to be a part of that process!

Abriel Adams

1 Year Old Teacher

Abriel was born in Atlanta, Georgia and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. She is a family and environmental portrait photographer and in the process of pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Media Entrepreneurship.  Her passion really is to simply love people and love God. Abriel has always loved children and loved seeing wonder through their eyes. Since her teenage years, she's volunteered in children's ministry & youth ministry. She loves getting to love and serve families and learn from them about life and God. Abriel is a YoungLife Leader with East Atlanta YoungLife mentoring our next generation. 


Andrea Epps

Infant Teacher

Andrea Epps is a Georgia native with ten years of childcare experience. She has taught 3 and 4 year old preschool, as well as been an all class substitute in a Montessori setting. Andrea went to the University of West Georgia for Mass Communication and is currently a student at Georgia State University for her MFA in Film & Digital Media. She aspires to work with children’s media in writing and development. She loves working in the infant room and creating a bond with our littlest friends as they get ready for the one year old classroom.


Kira Knott

1 Year Old Teacher

Kira is an Atlanta native with an undergraduate degree from Elon university in Biology. Before becoming a teacher at BYCC, Kira was a professional home organizer. Kira loves working with her hands in the woodshop and enjoys spending time in nature. In her free time, Kira spends the day with her husband, daughter and dog. 


Eulana Williams

3 Year Old Teacher

Hi, I’m Miss Eulana. I have been in child care for 9 years now having experience with multiple age groups. I have a CDA in preschool, and I love what I do. Child care is my passion. My favorite motto is, it takes a village to raise a child. I am beyond grateful to be a part of the village for children in this day and age.


Melinda Mathieson-Charles

3 Year Old Teacher

Melinda is a native of Guyana, South America. She migrated to New York where she graduated from Baruch College, The City University of New York with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She now resides in Forest Park, Georgia with her husband and daughter. Melinda has always been an active member in church, serving in youth groups and children’s ministry. She currently serves as vice president in an international organization called Won By One World Outreach Program. In this ministry, school uniforms and resources are supplied to underprivileged students in South America. She also serves in the women’s ministry in her local church. However her deep love for children developed when she became a mom to her now 9 and a half year old daughter, Janai. She believes children are the greatest blessings from God and being able to share the love of Jesus with them brings her great joy !

Shunty Ringfield

1 Year Old Teacher

Shunty Ringfield was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. She has worked in multiple childcare settings from being a summer camp lifeguard to freelance babysitting to teaching high school summer classes. One of her passions is inspiring women to become the best versions of themselves through fitness and self care. Shunty also really enjoys running, reading and baking tasty treats in her free time!


Nora Kowalke

Infant Teacher

Nora was born and raised in Minnesota, the land of 1000 lakes. She moved to Atlanta in 2021 after graduating college with a. degree in Intercultural Youth Development. Two words to describe her calling is restoring honor. Nora is passionate about cultivating community and helping the nomad finding a place to call home. Nora had exposure at a young age working in the nursery at church and loved to see the curiosity in the minds of young people. She loves seeing the awestruck wonder and imagination that children unapologetically embrace.
